Laser Hair Removal Treatments in Ohio and West Virginia
Tired of the plucking, shaving, and waxing?
Whether it is unwanted facial hair, unsightly hair on your body, or you just want to get on with your morning routine and save some time, laser hair removal could be the solution.
Rejuvenation Laser & Skin Center offers laser hair removal at our Vienna, West Virginia location.
Laser Hair Removal: What is it?
When you want long-term results that give you more shave-free days than waxing or plucking, laser hair removal is the answer.
Hair removal is one of the most common beauty procedures today, and the process requires a skilled technician or physician to remove hair by the follicles using laser-guided technology.
Even better, there is little risk, and when you visit a laser center that is using the latest technology, you get better results and less discomfort – all while removing unwanted hair from your body.
With a laser procedure, highly concentrated beams of light penetrate the hair follicles. The pigments of your hair follow and absorb the light – destroying themselves from the inside out in the process.

Why Get Laser Hair Removal?
Lasers are the ideal way to remove unwanted hair from just about anywhere on your body. More men and women are seeking laser hair removal because the benefits most definitely outweigh the risks, including:
- Extreme Precision – There is nothing quite as precise as a laser. With these treatments, the beam of light targets selectively and focuses on coarse, dark hairs – leaving the skin untouched.
- Faster Removal – Every pulse of the laser takes just a few seconds, but treats multiple hair follicles at the same time. Smaller areas are addressed in only a few minutes, saving you time during each appointment.
- Predictable Results – Laser technology is so advanced today that your technician can easily predict the outcome. Most clients have permanent hair removal in just a few treatments.
- Safe – Laser hair removal is safe, and the lasers used by Rejuvenation Laser & Skin Center are FDA cleared for all types of skin. Our technicians can use these lasers year-round, and we will only conduct laser hair removal on clients that qualify for the treatment – reducing risks even more.
What is Laser Hair Removal Like?
Laser hair removal happens in stages – so be prepared for a few treatments.
During your consultation, your hair’s condition is assessed, and your treatment plan created.
The hair being treated is trimmed until just a few millimeters above the skin. Then, your technician will adjust the laser by color, thickness, and area being treated.
You will have a cooling gel or a unique cooling device on your skin to keep it from warming too much during the procedure. Also, the cooling helps the laser better penetrate and get into the hair follicles.
Next, you will have pulses of light treating the area. The light strikes each follicle, and the pigment then absorbs the light and disables itself, which prevents further growth. Your technician may give you a few ice packs following the treatment to ease any discomfort, but the process is relatively pain-free.
Your next appointment will be scheduled six weeks out, and you will repeat until the hair stops growing. Each appointment lasts a few minutes up to an hour depending on the area being treated. Regardless, you could show up on a lunch break and get back to work. There is no downtime either – but you will want to avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks before your next treatment.
Eventually, you will have permanent hair removal, and your skin will be smooth, silky, and carefree.
